Lt. Colonel Ross Clemons, Army (Retired)
Ross Clemons was commissioned in the U.S. Army in 1986 as an infantry officer after graduating from the United States Military Academy. Over the course of 25 years in the Army he commanded units in the infantry and Special Forces where he completed two combat tours. He subsequently served as a defense attaché on several tours of duty in Africa and concluded his service with tours of duty at the Pentagon and at US Africa Command where he attained the rank of Colonel. He currently is the President and Owner of Clemons & Pierce, Retirement Plans Group.
Fluent in French, he completed War College at the College Interarme de Defense in Paris and completed a Master’s degree in History at the University of Florida.
In 2011 he retired with his wife, Mindy, and two children to Panama City, FL. They serve as Associate Staff with the Navigators discipleship ministry and are actively involved in teaching several Bible studies at local military bases and at their church. He serves on the Board of Directors at the Chamber of Commerce. He is currently on the board of Anchorage Children’s Home and serves as a mentor for students competing for scholarships through the Bay Education Foundation.
